Hello and Welcome to Mini Mates Miniature Horse and Pony Farm!

Mini Mates was established in 1990 and what started out as a Hobby Farm for breeding small ponies and Miniature horses soon turned out to be one of Brisbane's most talked about children's farm visits for Birthday Parties, Horse Riding, Playgroups, School Excursions, and School Holiday Farm Days. Over the last 25 years of operation, we have made Television appearances on Great South East , Talk to the Animals with Dr Harry, Brisbane Extra, and Totally Wild.

The ever popular Birthday Parties at Mini Mates consist of a period of two hours, wherein we provide an hour of activities consisting of led pony rides and wheelbarrow races - through to brushing, grooming, and feeding the Miniature Ponies and Horses. After these activities, all parents are welcome to utilise our facilities where we provide shaded cover, tables, and chairs in our eating area. Party food and birthday cake is however, your responsibility. Provided with every party are invitations including a Mud Map to direct your guests to the farm. Birthday parties are at a set price of $20 per child and are able to be booked for a group of 10 or more children. Early bookings are essential as we get booked out quickly - to book, please contact us via phone or e-mail.

We do also do pony rides for individual children that are not having a party between 8:30am and 9:30am every Saturday and Sunday. The pony rides are $20 per person.

Our farm consists of the Round Yard - where our led Pony rides are held. Connected to the round yard is our main barn, this is where children have the opportunity to feed, brush, and pat the Ponies. Next to this area we have our second barn, this is the location we use in case of wet weather.

Our covered eating area has plenty of seating and tables for parties, and room for the adults to sit and relax, with a lovely view of the rest of our farm, out to the lake, gazebo and field for the Ponies.
