Minestra

Minestra - it's Italian for soup. In Calabria, where my grandmother is from, it means stew - usually stewed greens. The food she grew up with was mostly vegetarian and often vegan by necessity. Here in the lucky country, meat became less of a rare luxury and more of a standard, but at family gatherings, those simple fresh flavour-packed vegetable dishes are our absolute favourites.

Minestra brings my grandmother's delicious recipes to you -
through private, business and event catering, and at the odd street market. Soon, we'll have our own place as well!
