Minajalku Aboriginal Healing Centre

The Minajalku Aboriginal Healing Centre is located in Thornbury in Melbourne’s northern suburbs and has a long history of providing healing services to the Aboriginal community.

The Minajalku Healing Centre is widely recognised as a place where members of the Aboriginal community can come together in a safe place to access services that help with their healing journeys.

Minajalku is not a program in itself but runs a range of Aboriginal programs and activities that are targeted to different groups of people requiring different types of healing. It does not specialise in any one area, as it aims to be inclusive of the needs of a broad cross section of the Aboriginal community and their needs. Minajalku allows for a holistic and culturally-appropriate approach to be taken to improve the health and wellbeing of VAHS clients and other Aboriginal community members.

Minajalku services are complimentary to the existing range of services offered by VAHS and to other services available in the local area. .
