Michelle Rowland is an award-winning Master Eyelash Stylist, Freelance Make Up Artist , Eyelash Educator and Nail Technician. She has been in the business of beautifying clients for 19 years. She has been the on-air Bridal and Beauty Expert at 2GB, Australia's highest rating talk back radio station, even broadcasting live from Hollywood during her five years in L:.A.
With the bright lights of Hollywood in the backdrop and armed with her unique make up techniques and her highly honed expertise in the art of eyelash extensions, Michelle soon found herself working on movie sets and television productions. Word of Michelle's talent spread quickly and her eyelash extension/make up clientele soared beyond actresses to directors, producers, writers, studio executives, rock star wives and Playboy Playmates. In true Hollywood style, she had to sign numerous confidentiality agreements. She loved every minute of her time in La La Land!
Extensive work in the art of eyelash extensions while in L.A. put the 'La' in Michelle's lashes.....and La Lash Sydney was born! Her private Leichhardt studio, in the inner west, is taking Sydney by storm. She is quickly becoming Sydney's most sought after eyelash stylist.
Michelle began training up-and-coming eyelash stylists while in L.A. (including Reese Witherspoon's personal eyelash stylist) and now she is bringing her revolutionary eyelash extension training to Sydney with her boutique La Lash Academy Sydney. Training students is Michelle's greatest passion and goes hand in hand with her motto, 'We rise by lifting others.' Her goal is to empower and encourage her students to turn their careers into successful businesses.
La Lash Network is an association Michelle founded, to support and mentor fellow eyelash technicians as they start their own businesses. She believes a supportive network of lash technicians will only improve the lash industry in Australia.
Michelle is currently working on her own product line, La Lash Couture and writing her first book.
