Merriwa Nursery

Merriwa Nursery is a family owned plant production nursery located 4 klms outside the town of Merriwa on the western edge of the Upper Hunter Valley in New South Wales. We have been growing plants for over 20 years and offer a range of plants in various sizes.

We specialise in growing many varieties of lavender and a wide range of native and exotic hardy waterwise plants. We grow a selection of tried and true advanced ornamental deciduous trees and fruit trees are available through late winter to spring and early summer.

We also contract grow exotic and native tubestock. Email us for details.

Our plants are available from leading independant nurseries and garden centres and selected chain stores throughout NSW and the ACT or direct from the nursery.

Whilst predominantly wholesale growers, we are also open to the public and welcome visitors to our nursery. Our opening hours during the week are 8 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. and weekends 9 a.m. to 12 o'clock. We are closed Good Friday, Christmas Day and New Years Day. It is always wise to telephone the nursery before visiting on a public holiday or a weekend. Our plants are also available via mail order.
