Our cottage set in on the brow of the hill over- looking Mount Sturgeon at Dunkeld. It has the most amazing views, a beautiful deck in front of large picture windows, from where you can look straight up Mt Sturgeon, across to Piccaninny and then Mt Abrupt, with the Wannon River weaving around the river red gums at the base of the mountain all this only 200 meters from the cottage.

You can watch the sun set to the West while the kangaroos and birds come to drink at the waterholes in the river. All this peace and quiet, but with good cafes and coffee only a 10 minute walk away in the main street of Dunkeld, which also offers the fine dining of the Royal Mail Hotel. Share a little of Dunkeld’s history, the 10 hectares around the cottage have been in the Mereweather family for more than 150 years, and family members still live on it today. You can walk around the brow of the hill, sit on the rocks and watch nature at its best. This is a great place for the artist, photographer and a wonderful back drop for that special wedding photo. The cottage has a Queen bed in the main bedroom and two singles in the second bedroom, all linen and furniture is new.
