Memorable Castings

Memorable Castings creates beautifully handcrafted freestanding and framed 3d hand and foot cast sculptures of your baby, toddler or child's hands and feet. There is no age limit, grandparents are very keen to have their hands casts with their precious grandchild.
3d hand and foot casts are taken using a gentle technique involving your baby/child’s hands or feet dipped into a warm mixture that is a natural product, made from seaweed and is non-toxic/skin safe, biodegradable moulding material that can be taken right from birth which then becomes firm (but flexible), after a couple of minutes the hand/foot can easily slide out.
The casting process only takes a couple of minutes and captures every detail of your child's hand or foot. After you leave my studio meticulous care and attention is given to turn these moulds into stone 'sculptures' that can be cherished forever. They are hand painted in your choice of colour. Your finished casts can be displayed as freestanding sculptures or alternatively behind glass in a quality shadow box frame, available in a choice of colours with an engraved plaque.
Castings are carried out in my home studio in Jeremadra near Mogo, or if for some reason, you cannot travel I can travel to your own home. Castings take approximately 30 minutes per baby / child and requires no preparation on your part. I can do castings on any day of the week
My turnaround time is 4 - 5 weeks. If you need them sooner please let me know and I will endeavour to meet any deadline you may have. I will discuss the delivery date at your appointment and contact you when your casting is completed.
