Melbourne Teen Actors

MTA is a school designed to help young actors develop into thinking actors and preparing them for a long hopefully successful acting career.

Junior Class:
Actors will learn the basics of acting along with getting out of their heads using a series of improvisation exercises designed to force quick thinking. Following that they will work on scenes from films they have grown up watching and some their parents grew up with. They will be directed and helped through this process.

Senior Class
Actors will be encouraged to make their own choices and bring something different to their scene work. They will be dealing with some of the most iconic teen films of our time from 'The Breakfast Club' to 'Rebel without a Cause' along with many more. The hope is to get these scenes to a level where we can film and add to each students showreel
