Melbourne High School Library

The Library is a physical and virtual space and a dynamic learning centre for the school community. Our mission is to inspire and nurture a lifelong love of reading, discussion, learning and sharing, while supporting curricular and co-curricular programs at Melbourne High School.

The Library's fiction resources and the librarians' expertise in literature support the enrichment of students' intellectual, aesthetic, cultural and emotional growth. The wide range of curriculum resources cater for differences in learning and teaching styles and the high level of academic standards in the school.

Teacher Librarians collaborate with teachers to support and enhance teaching and learning, developing information and digital fluency skills and independent, successful learners. Library staff are always happy to assist and support students and teachers while providing a stimulating environment and flexible spaces.
