directly to the east, south-east and north-east of the Melbourne central business
district in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The eastern suburbs are the most
populated area of Melbourne with over 2, 000, 000 residents. It ranges from
inner-eastern suburbs, like South Yarra, and Richmond to the Eastern
Dandenong Ranges and Yarra Valley in Emerald, Gembrook, Cockatoo,
Coldstream, Berwick, and even into West Gippsland, in Pakenhem.
