Melba House was the home of Mrs Charles Armstrong who went on to become the acclaimed opera star Dame Nellie Melba. Built in 1882-83 for the young couple, they only lived in the house for 9 months before Nellie left to follow her dream of success as an opera singer. The house is now the home of Pioneer Valley Tourism and Development Association and functions as a Visitor Information Centre, Melba Memorabilia display and craft shop. Open 9am to 3pm daily.
