Meet I.T Academy

MeetIT is about introducing basic coding skills to primary school students in a fun and friendly environment.
We run after school classes which are designed to give students new skills in programming as well as creating apps, building websites, constructing games, and discovering the world of robotics.
We believe that learning about computer science helps with mental flexibility, higher levels of thinking and useful problem solving.
Our classes encourage curiosity, build on knowledge of maths and give students an understanding of how coding, basic physics and gaming all work.
We use Game Based Learning (GBL) which balances subject matter with game play. This format helps students use their knowledge in real world situations.

● One hour per week after school

● Games include Minecraft and Scratch
● Suitable for ages 8 to 12
