Hi, My name is Bruce Quang Hien, I resided in Australia when i was 4, and raised in a traditional Vietnamese family. I am fluent in English and Vietnamese. I started performing professionally on stage as a wedding singer. I enjoy being part of someone's big day so much that i kept singing at weddings and special events many more years later.
Early 2007, I emcee for my friend's wedding as his wedding MC cancelled at the last minute. I felt extraordinary as i was able to play an important role on their special day. That was how my career started.
I realised that the bride and groom should be able to relax and feel comfortable on their big day, not feeling stressed. As an MC, I liaise with the caterer, the band, the reception and the bridal party in order to make everything flow smoothly.
I have done more than 200 weddings over the years, from full traditional Vietnamese weddings to Australian weddings. I still feel very nervous every time I emcee a wedding. Not because I am not good at my job, because I always try to create the best memories for the couple on their special day as they trust me to be the master of their ceremony.
