Maylands Amateur Boatbuilding Yard

Maylands Amateur Boatbuilding Yard is a unique facility located on the Swan River in Perth which provides space for amateur boat builders to build, maintain and repair their own boats on site.
The only general public facility of its kind in Western Australia, The Maylands Boatyard has been in operation for more than 30 years and is leased from the Western Australian Planning Commission. Owner builders are able to build, maintain and repair their vessels privately in a secure environment at their own cost.
Since its establishment, it has become an integral part of the river system and local community. The Maylands Boatyard offers the use of a Slipway and also has a Chandlery for marine supplies on site.
