Maryborough City Progress Association Inc.

The objects of the Maryborough City Progress Association Inc. are:
1. To promote and encourage the economic development of the Maryborough city through tourism, industry encouragement and business enhancement.
2. To make representation to government at all levels and to other associations or groups of individuals in the interests of all residents & business stakeholders of the community.
3. Work together with associations with complimentary objectives and goals.
4. To assist the City of Maryborough to achieve its full potential.
5. To provide a positive solution focused forum to which residents & business stakeholders of the community can bring problems for free and open discussion and solution.
6. To be actively interested in and to promote where desirable festivals, exhibitions, conventions, productions and displays as the Association may from time to time deem desirable.
7. To explore all lawful avenues for the acquiring of adequate finance for the purpose of maintaining the Association and for directly and indirectly assisting the development of the Maryborough City.
8. To undertake any such other activities as may be from time to time agreed by the Association.
9. To promote interest and responsibility and civic pride to the people of Maryborough City and to encourage and assist such public development of that resource of the district.
10. Revitalise the identity of Maryborough City of our heritage and history through the promotion of community gatherings & events, while we have fun as we connect with our community.
