My name is Ruth O’Brien. I’m a creative career coach, vocal artist, writer and arts advocate.

Mary Violet Creative exists to help artists, designers, singers, writers, actors, dancers, photographers, painters (and basically anybody creative!) learn the skills they need to further their careers.

Specifically, I help my clients to understand and accentuate their strengths, organise their creative projects, articulate their problems and try to provide support and guidance through difficulties specifically related to their creative practice.

I also provide practical support with grant writing, arts administration, market research, social media presence, press releases, basic events management advice and other ad hoc tasks. Happy to tailor a package to suit your needs! Out of hours appointments available by negotiation.
