This full day tour leaves from Hobart and has been uniquely designed to encompass everything Tasmania is renowned for.

The day starts by walking the fossil cliffs circuit (2 Hr). Huge sea cliffs and a chance to walk down to an old quarry to view thousands of fossils up close. Kangaroos and Wombats are frequent along this trail. Stopping for morning tea in a beautiful native forest.

Lunch will be prepared FRESH by your 2 local guides. Either inside a convict building or outside by the beach, depending on weather.

The afternoon will be a gentle walk to the vibrant painted cliffs (1 1/2 Hr). These eroded sandstone cliffs are often a favourite of visitors to Maria Island. Walking back via The Oast House and learning more about the layered history of the island.

Afternoon tea will be served down by the jetty as we await our ferry back to the mainland. This will include a local wine and cheese tasting, and a chance to get one last photo with a wombat.
