Maldon Athenaeum Library

Our book collection is both modern and classic. We endeavour to provide current, up-to-date and popular publications in fiction and non-fiction. There are also many excellent books from earlier times. The junior library contains titles to suit 'toddlers to teens'.

Fiction categories include mysteries, thrillers, science fiction, westerns, romances, general works and short stories.

Non-fiction categories cover autobiographies, biographies, gardening, craft, cooking/food, travel, architecture/art, religions, science, D.I.Y., Australiana and others.

The Maldon Collection comprises books which reflect the lifestyle of the goldfields in the Victorian and Edwardian eras as well as books which trace the development and history of the town. Local authors both from the past and the present are represented in this section.
