Arbonne is committed to the development of unparalleled products free of harmful ingredients, using a combination of botanical principles and scientific discovery. Our commitment begins with research and testing to ensure that each of our ingredients meets or exceeds industry standards for purity.

Arbonne® products are vegan-friendly: Our formulas are never tested on animals and do not contain animal derived ingredients or animal by-products. We firmly believe that a full list of our formula ingredients should be made available to our consumers through published materials and product labelling.

As part of our ongoing commitment to ingredient excellence, we have been successful in replacing parabens by using other safe and effective preservation systems. We have also put into place an ingredient policy to screen out gluten and ingredients that contain GMO. We will continue to bring to market top-quality products that are carefully reviewed to meet our high standards of purity.

Arbonne is dedicated to the safety of our products and our consumers. We review our ingredients and our formulas based on the most objective, conclusive, scientifically supported sources available.

In addition to our strict internal Purity and Safety Ingredient Policy, Arbonne abides by the global rules and regulations set by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Health Canada, the National Industrial Chemicals Notification and Assessment Scheme (NICNAS), the Personal Care Products Council (formerly the CTFA), the Cosmetics Internal Review (CIR), the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) and by the two highest standards of cosmetic safety: The European Union Cosmetics Directive and the European chemicals agency known as REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals). We also embrace the European Commissions Scientific Committee on Cosmetic and Non-Food Products (SCCNFP), which conducts safety evaluations on cosmetic ingredients. In addition, all our fragrances are formulated in accordance with International Fragrance Association (IFRA) standards.

Complementary medicines are regulated in Australia by the Therapeutic Goods Administration and food-type products are regulated by Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ). Arbonne rigorously adheres to the regulations for all nutrition products. All complementary medicines are submitted for pre-market approval and follow strict labelling requirements. Arbonne executes mandatory adverse event reporting, and ensures current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) are followed, as well as appropriate facility registration.

Before Arbonne brings any products to market, we ensure all ingredients undergo rigorous safety assessments, and finished formulas pass strict safety testing to ensure their highest quality. These safety tests include irritancy and allergy testing for all products, ophthalmology testing for eye products, dermatologist testing for all beauty products, and additional pediatrician testing for baby products.
