Selling quality grass fed meat has always been a dream of Matthew and Jacqui Hyland. Growing up in the city, and having a country get away as a child, Matthew grew to love the country and before long Jacqui was beside him sharing his passion for the land. As far back as he can remember, Matthew has aspired to combine his love for the Australian countryside with his desire to work with his hands, and live out his dream. Matthew and Jacqui were able to make their dreams come true at the ripe old age of 26. They are fortunate to be able to own a piece of Australia on the Macquarie Coast, where Macq’s Premium Meats was born.

On the rich soils of the Lower Macleay Valley, Macq’s Meats raise a mixture of Angus and Santa Gertrudis cattle on vast open plains, free to roam the abundance of green fields, just the way mother nature intended!
