Thinking about giving University Football a try? Well, the only way to find out if it's for you is coming down to training and giving it a try. Life's tough when you don't know a lot of people, however Macquarie Uni's Womens Football gives you access to a wide range of like-minded people studying and working in all fields of work, from Law to Education to Science and Arts.
Starting the Football season off in early April, the Mac Uni Women's teams resume preseason training in mid January 2017. While not as important as season training and games, preseason training helps to solidify most basic soccer skills and practices to allow you to do your best throughout the season. With teams both social and competitive, Mac Uni women's football strives to cater for players just starting to returning players and experienced players looking to help their team take out the premier title for the 2017 season.
Training will primarily be 1-2 days a week (Mondays and Wednesdays), with most games being played on Sundays throughout the day. Training takes place at Macquarie University's own sports fields, this can also be found on google maps.
Looking forward to seeing some bright new faces at training next year! For any further information please feel free to contact via Facebook or call or send a quick email.
More information about preseason training will come as soon as dates are confirmed.
