Low Isles Lighthouse

Low Island is one of the last intact light stations on the Queensland coast, comprising of the Lighthouse, three Lighthouse keepers houses, and 4 auxiliary buildings. The Lightstation is run entirely on renewable energy and the waters surrounding the island are a Marine Park Green Zone. There is a closure on Woody Island from September 1 to March 31 for bird nesting.
