I love working with couples to create a perfect day and very special memories. I will do my best to ensure that your ceremony is exactly what you want. I encourage couples to create something unique by writing your own vows and/or including others in their ceremony. For couples wanting the tried and tested I have examples of ceremonies, vows, ring exchanges, poetry and readings available that we can include your personal touch.

What I will Do

As your Celebrant my time line of events is a little like this:

Arrange an initial meeting to complete the Notice of Intended Marriage (between 18 months and 31 days as required by Births, Deaths and Marriages). A deposit is paid and I give you copies of sample ceremonies and readings as a guide for your special day. I’ll ask you the couple lots of questions so, together we can write a ceremony that is personal and engaging.

About one month prior the wedding I’ll email you a draft ceremony for your approval, comments and suggestions.

About one week prior the wedding we meet to sign Form 16. Finalise payments, fine tune the ceremony, time and location and walk through a rehearsal if required.

On the day I arrive at least 45 minutes prior the ceremony to set-up and check audio. You arrive on time and have a truly memorable day.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, I present the couple with their Marriage Certificate. They are congratulated and farewelled by me, to enjoy the rest of their special day with their guests.

The Ceremony is really the most important part of the day, without the Ceremony it’s just a big, expensive party.


I will guide you through the necessary paperwork, rehearsals and planning for your special day. I am available for advice or assistance whenever required to ensure that your day as stress free as possible and you can enjoy this very special occasion.
