Lota wharf

Started by Mr J.G.Mcdonough on the 17/12/1953 and sold to Mr A.P.Cross on the 3/7/1959.
Mr cross grew it in to a boat building business/slipway and was sold on .
Ownership changed hands a number of times and it was left sit and forgot except by a few devoted locals !
Some love lota creek some much that held clean up days hiring in skip bins and clearing the banks of lota creek of rubbish over 5 years still with lots to be done .
Lota is 20 mins from Brisbane and the lota creek flows in to Morton Bay .
