I am a photographer based in Burnie on the North-West Coast of Tasmania. I love capturing the small details of this beautiful part of the world and its people. My name is Naomi.

There's a culinary-related saying that Italian cooking draws attention to the food, while French cooking draws attention to the cook. (Nigella Lawson talks about this in one of her television shows.) When I'm photographing you and your family, my aim is to be like the Italian cook. The focus (pardon the pun) is on you and your loved ones and not on me as the photographer. My philosophy is to work as simply and honestly as possible. My work is photo-journalistic in style and the best thing about it is creating memories for people that can be shared for generations to come.
