Longford Football Club

Established in 1878, the Longford Football Club is the third oldest club in Tasmania. Longford has won 19 Senior Premierships with the last Senior Premiership in 1989. From 1901 to 1909 the club won 9 premierships in a row and then had another Golden era in the 1950's winning flags in 1955, 1957 and 1958 including a State Premiership in 1957. Our flag in 1989 was a highlight and like all clubs we have experienced highs and lows throughout our history. Longford are extremely fortunate to have a great group of young men in their club and Premiership success is not too far away.
