Lizzy Online was written by a speech pathologist and validated with remarkable student success over more than 20 years.
The program aims to teach phonological and phonemic awareness skills CONCURRENTLY
with reading and spelling
The Lizzy Online program comes with assessment tools and online resources divided into levels to support teaching and learning.


Pre Reading Level focuses is on phonic knowledge and phonological awareness
(especially sound manipulation, rhyme and
syllable recognition).
Levels 1 to 8 utilise a spiral progression of phonological skills and phonic knowledge,
together with appropriate reading / spelling material.

Why does Lizzy Online work?

• There is no memorising. The student develops skills and learns to use these skills to read / spell
unknown words at an appropriate level.

• Each Lizzy Online level is designed so that the clinician can individualise the program for each student. It allows for extra revision and the
ability to skip sections that students have mastered. The accompanying home program adds value to the clinician’s instruction with 4 extra days of home practice.
