Laughter Wellness Workouts are a unique body-mind activity combining unconditional or simulated laughter exercises with yogic breathing.
A session starts with gentle warm-up techniques which include stretching, chanting, clapping and body movement. These help break down inhibitions and develop feelings of child like playfulness. Breathing exercises are used to prepare the lungs for laughter, followed by a series of 'laughter exercises' that lead to long and hearty unconditional laughter. Scientifically it has been proven that twenty minutes of laughter is sufficient to develop full physiological and psychological benefits.
Grounding breathing techniques designed to re-balance energy are used to close a session.
