Little Star Family Market

The Little Star Family Market which was previously Barossa & Light Children’s Market for nearly 3 years is a community event for the whole family situated in Freeling. The markets are held quarterly (March, June, September and December) and have moved back home to Freeling from September 2015. They have been at Gawler in 2014 whilst at Angaston for 9 Months prior to that and previously held in Freeling for 2 years since its beginnings in 2011.

We feel there is a need for this type of event locally to showcase small businesses and services, and provide an opportunity for the
public to connect in a community event.

The Little Star Family Market features a minimum of 60 stalls, a market for all things handmade, locally sourced and new for Babies, Children,
Mummies, Daddies and Grandparents. Loads of yummy treats, great gifts and entertainment for the whole family and local visitors! There are both indoor and outdoor stalls to provide a mixture of businesses.

A variety of food and drinks are available from the various food vans to compliment
the Sausage Sizzle and Coffee Van for those who would like to indulge.

A bouncy castle (weather permitting), face painting and temporary tattoos along with colouring in activities are on offer to entertain.
