Lithgow Valley Chiropractic Centre

Lithgow Valley Chiropractic Centre has been operating in Lithgow since 2001 when Dr Mark Pascoe purchased the practice. The practice had previously been operating since the early 1970's. Mark is a 1992 graduate of RMIT University in Melbourne and previously practised in Springwood and Katoomba in the Blue Mountains. He grew up in the Springwood area. The practice has a family focus and sees a large number of children. Mark is currently a candidate for a Master of Science degree in Chiropractic Paediatrics from the University of Wales. He is completing his thesis on the chiropractic management of chronic serous otitis media (glue ear) in children.

The practice of chiropractic focuses on the relationship between structure (mobility of the joints) and function (as coordinated by the nervous system including the brain) and how that relationship affects the optimum function of the body. In addition, this practice recognises the value and responsibility of working in cooperation with other health care practitioners when in the best interest of the patient.
