LiteracyCircle specialises in helping children to master literacy (reading and writing). Our programmes are supported by the latest research and operate in Australia and internationally. They help pre-readers and primary children improved their reading skills.

LiteracyLittleSteps

*Pre-reading program for children from (approx) four years of age. This program focuses on phonology (sounds system of a language), phonics, handwriting, vocabulary, speaking and listening. Our students achieve reading readiness making the pathway to reading much easier. Very importantly it helps their self-esteem and confidence during their transition to school.

*Kindergarten children who are struggling to grasp the letter sounds and names. LiteracyLittleSteps will help.


LiteracyBigSteps

*Pre-school children who want to get a head start before starting school and learn to read the basics.

*Primary school children who are confused and struggling with reading at school. For instance they may be guessing all the time, don’t remember a word that was just read or finding reading homework a challenge. All these issues may indicate some of the reading basics are not understood. LiteracyBigSteps will help.

*An average student but no real reading progress occurring. This may indicate the student has not understood the intermediate reading skills or may be solely relying on memorising words. LiteracyBigSteps will help.
