Lien Lien Cafe is brand new with very enthusiastic staff ready to serve the customers that come through its dual access with an entrance at 520 Elizabeth street, and the other at 11 Leicester Street. The location is right near the ANMF (Australian Nursing Midwifery Federation), diagonally just over the road from the Queen Victoria Market, on the main thoroughfare to Melbourne University and has access to public transport straight from Flinders street station with a less than 5 minute tram ride.

The food is sourced fresh daily and made at the time of each order, so please be patient while waiting for your freshly mastered dish to arrive at your table or ready for take-away. Special requests can even be made by people that have dietary concerns and allergy conditions. NO MSG is added to any Lien lien dishes, and you can tell this by the refreshing feeling you will get after eating your meal, unless of course you order the spicy beef soup - that dish should be left to the experts.

Lien Lien’s wants to become famous for its specialty soups with origins direct from the banks of the Mekong River, these are made from all natural ingredients with many of the base stocks taking more than 48 hours to mix and nurture over hot ovens to bring tantalizing flavours to your taste buds. All soups are served on a noodle base with special fresh ingredients.

Lien Lien’s also has plenty of other authentic and traditional main course dishes such as Grilled Pork Vermicelli Noodles, Crispy Chicken and Rice, along with Broken Rice with Grilled Shredded Pork Meatloaf/egg at just $10.

Or for a tasty takeaway choose from Lien Lien’s fresh rolls including Grilled Pork, Grilled Chicken and Pork Meat Balls.

Lien Lien's also has a nice selection of desserts ranging from Pandan and Taro cake by the slice to Sticky rice Puddings and Silk Worm Cassava Cake.
