I offer horse breaking and pre training

Set your young horse on the path of respectful behavior. Have them tought to lead, tie up, pick up feet and respect humans and have the manner instilled with a kind but firm hand, so as they grow they dont become difficult to handle.


I generally allow 6 weeks to start your horse, this is dependent on the horse and the extent of the handling when it arrives. In this time your horse will undertake the following;

Week 1 - 2 The first week will normally consist of ground training. In this time the horse will be taught to accept the bridle and the roller.

Week 2 - 3 The horse will begin to be mouthed and will be long reined in the bridle. In this time it will also have the saddle introduced and will be long reined with the saddle on.

Week 3 - 4 Generally by this stage your horse will be ridden in the round yard, ensuring the horses willingness to travel forward.

Week 4 - 5 This is when most are ready to ride out and around the property and out of the round yard.


Week 5 - 6 By this stage we take the horse out onto the track.

In this time i will also teach the horse to be rugged, be able to have its feet done and also have a dentist come in and make sure all is well.

I use a programe called feed xl to insure all my horses recieve a balanced diet.
