Lewers Learning Centre

Lewers Learning Centre turns the Gallery’s curatorial methodology on its head by considering the interests of young audiences first and then working from that perspective to design exhibitions that ignite the imagination and arouse the curiosity of young visitors.

During 2013, Lewers Learning Centre will present three family focused, interactive exhibitions: Birds, Story and Scissor, Paper, Rock (the boat) in Lewers House Gallery. The three exhibitions have all been designed to encourage a sense of wonder and surprise for young visitors and each exhibition will feature inter-disciplinary hands-on learning opportunites that suit a variety of emerging personalities and learning styles.
