TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By placing your order you will abide by the terms and condition herein.

PRODUCTION
All cakes, cupcakes, slices and other products, along with the use of equipments, are produced in the kitchen where nuts, seeds, eggs and gluten products are present. All food preparation is strictly in accordance with council regulations and industry best practice. All our products are baked to order. However, some work such as edible toppers may be done in advance to allow the required time to air dry. If you have any questions or concerns regarding ingredients or products, please feel free to let us know and we can supply information regarding products or allergen information. We are happy to discuss product substitution to suit your requirements.

ORDERS
Two weeks notice is preferable for orders. Shorter notice may be accommodated for smaller orders, but please be aware that availability will depend on workload at that time. For larger and more complex orders, more notice may be required.

PRICING
Each order will be priced differently as per client requirements. All products are costed to account for ingredients, labour and business operating costs.

We advise two methods of deciding on a suitable product. One option is to set a fixed budget and we'll propose choices that will fit within that budget. The other option is to tell us your idea or specific design and we'll cost it for you.

Please be aware that labour and operating costs must be accounted for with our orders. All cake toppers are crafted lovingly by hand, which requires time and skill. We respectfully request that clients be realistic with pricing expectations. We use only premium fresh ingredients and not cake mix with preservatives.

ALLERGY
Please note it may be possible for allergic reactions to occur even if you do not have a history of allergies to certain ingredients. All products are made in a kitchen where allergen products are stored and produced. It is the customers responsibility to inform us of all allergies they are aware of. It is also the customers responsibility to check the ingredients for each recipe listed on our Facebook page. We are not responsible for any allergic reaction that may occur when consuming our products.

DESIGN
It may be preferable for clients to visit us to finalise complex design requirements. Design changes may be allowed after finalising designs but this may incur a fee. We will try our best to replicate other designs as per client requirements. However, please be aware that there is no guarantee of an exact likeness due to different equipment, ingredients, weather etc.

DEPOSIT
Once the design is finalised and price agreed, a deposit of 50% is required before the order can commence. This will be deduced from the final balance and can be paid by bank transfer or cash. No order is confirmed until the deposit is paid and we may be forced to cancel orders if the deposit is not paid in a timely manner.

CONFIRMATION OF ORDER
Once the deposit is received, the order will be confirmed to the client via email.

CANCELLATION
The deposit is not refundable as ingredients and equipment may be purchased for that order. In the event of an emergency situation such as bereavement, hospitalisation, car accident; we can discuss a refund with evidence supplied.

Depending on workload, it may be possible to re-book the delivery date. This may require a re-booking fee.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we may be forced to cancel an order. This may occur after the deposit or the final payment has been paid. In the event that we have to cancel an order, all monies paid will be refunded and credit may be given for future orders.

DELIVERY
It is preferred for clients to pick up their orders themselves. Delivery may be available for a fee that will compensate for our time, petrol and vehicle operating costs. Delivery will be at a mutually agreed time but it must fit around our business requirements.

Pick up times can be arranged when placing the order. Once handed to the client, or loaded by ourselves into the car, we take no responsibility for any damage that may occur to the products. We will discuss options for safe travel with each client depending on the type of order.

PAYMENT BALANCE
We require final payment to be made 7 days before collection of the order via bank transfer, unless alternative arrangements are made in specific circumstances. Failure to pay the balance 7 days before collection may result in us being forced to cancel the order. In this unfortunate circumstance, the deposit will not be refunded.

LIABILITY
L&G Sweets Co. does not cover any product or public liability. The is the responsibility of the client to ensure they inform us of allergen information and are aware of the ingredients in the products as listed on our Facebook menu. The client is responsible for the order once they have received the product. We take no responsibility for client transportation of orders.
