Lake Barra Cottages

Lake Barra Cottages is a peaceful & tranquil 240 acre farm situated 25 kms from Gympie.

We have six 2 brm self contained Cottages with pool, set high on the hill to take in the glorious views of the surrounding area and to watch the stunning sunsets.

A nature lovers paradise for Fishing, Bushwalking, Photography and Birdwatching or to just sit back and enjoy a glass of wine on the verandah.

Only a half hour drive to Tin Can Bay and 40 mins to Rainbow Beach.

Unpowered caravan sites right on the lake but no amenities so must have own toilet and shower. $25 per night per site or $15 for seniors. If camping, fishing is $20 for 2 people.

If you just want to try your luck at fishing, come for 1/2 day for $25 or a full day (sunrise to sunset) for $40. Fishing is catch and release. No live bait to be used, just lures. Canoes or kayaks only permitted on the lakes. Electric motors only.
