Lachlan Fire Brigade

The Lachlan Volunteer Fire Brigade was formed in 1983 and today has a membership of 25 highly trained and enthusiastic volunteers ready to accept any task required of it by the Tasmania Fire Service. The Tasmania Fire Service is made up of 230 Brigades across the State and Islands and is made up of around 250 career Firefighters and 4800 volunteer Firefighters. Some of our tasks involve attending Vegetation Fires, Structure Fires, Vehicle Fires, Motor Vehicle Accidents, Assisting other Emergency Service Agencies and Providing training in Community Awareness.

The Brigade trains every Tuesday night from 7pm at our station located between Lachlan Valley Food and Wine and Gleeson Park.
