When someone asks where I live, my answer always begins with "this week...."

I've been housesitting for more then 2 years and really enjoy getting to know all sorts of different animals, while the pets get to enjoy staying in their own homes while their owners are away.

Some pet owners prefer me to live in their homes so I can provide company for their pets (and security for their homes), while others prefer me to visit once or twice a day to feed, play with and exercise their pets. During these visits I can also ensure that the house has a "lived in" feel, by collecting mail, turning lights on/off, opening/closing curtains, arranging lawn mowing etc. I am very aware of the Queensland storm season and think it is important to have somebody keeping an eye on your home during these months to alert you to any damage to your home (and hopefully arrange to have it fixed before your return!)

I send photos to owners showing them what their fur babies have been up to during the day. Some owners like to have Skype or FaceTime chats - I completely understand and feel very honoured to be looking after pets that are so well loved.

I only take reservations via Pawshake as they include Insurance with each booking.

In 2016, I'm currently available for overnight housesits:

4 to 30 October

12 to 27 November

4 to 19 December

House visits and dog walks are available throughout the year.
