I fell in love with Africa well before I ever had the chance to visit. In 2016 it became reality. I went on Safari to Kenya with Gamewatchers Safaris, staying in their own small Porini Camps in private conservancies, land leased for eco-tourism from the local Maasai people. I saw first hand the benefits of the private conservancy model; how it is having a positive impact on the natural environment, the wildlife and the local Maasai community. I have been a huge supporter ever since.
