Kolindale Stud

Kolindale Merino, Poll Merino and White Suffolk stud is run by the Ledwith family in Dudinin on a mixed purpose sheep and cropping property.

Kolindale is renowned for breeding a well-structured, plain-bodied animal with wool of a high quality and cutting ability. Emphasis is placed on breeding a robust, quick maturing, fertile merino that produces a well-nourished, white and lustrous, crimpy medium wool.

Our easy care White Suffolks adapt well to tough conditions and a quick growth rate makes them well suited to meat producers by providing the opportunity to turn lambs off quicker. These rams are well suited to breed with Merino ewes as they are an easy lambing type.

Kolindale has an extensive AI program over both its Merinos and White Suffolks which sources the best genetics to ensure our clients have a large selection of even rams available for selection.
