KITNKABOODLE BACKGROUND
Kitnkaboodle Productions (KnK) are Jake Mann and Sue McKenna.

Jake and Sue have been working together since 2003, (performing & promoting music), having recognised the need for a range of services that support musicians and artists to develop and promote their work.

KnK formed officially in June of 2007, with the assistance of N.E.I.S (New Enterprise Initiative Scheme), to provide a multi media service, focusing on the local art and music industries (SEQ, NNSW).

Jake and Sue are both composers, performers & multi-instrumentalists, with a real passion for original music creation, playing with, and inspiring people from all walks of life, of all ages.
Between them they have decades of performing and recording experience
As well as their own bands, “Mantlepeace” and “Channelfree”, Jake and Sue also play with roots reggae sensation “Imandan” and numerous other line ups.
Jake is a skilled sound engineer (both live & in studio), graphic artist, video editor and record producer.
Sue is involved with event & stage management, business communications and facilitates various workshops.

Kitnkaboodle have been involved in numerous music festivals in recent years including Island Vibes (3yrs). Earth Frequency (4yrs), Splendour in the Grass (2yrs), Southern Oracle (2yrs), Winter Solstice (2yrs), Unity Festival (NNSW) (2yrs), Bushweek (2yrs), Utribe , Ukitopia (5yrs), Mission Evolve (2yrs), etc... as well as countless events (live sound production, stage management & performances) in venues up & down the east coast.

In this time Jake & Sue have also facilitated workshops including Expression Sessions (interactive improvisation band workshop), Vocal Expression Sessions (interactive vocal workshop), Vocal Yoga (vocal exercise), Music audio tech. & stage etiquette (techniques & tips in stage & studio production & performance).

In the studio Kitnkaboodle have produced numerous independent releases for bands including Imandan, Fyahwalk, The Hip-shooters, Murray Kyle, Euphonics, Mantlepeace, Sisters Healing Earth, Sydney or the Bush, The Blissmongers Collective, Splinter in the Mind, etc..
Also produced compilations “Songs 4 Sea Shepherd” & “Live @ Sphinx Rock” fund raiser CD’s.

As parents, they are conscious of the need for constructive, individual, self expression in a nurturing, supportive environment. It is our experience that music inspires, stimulating all the senses, promoting profound connection between peoples, lifting the spirits and raising self confidence and self esteem.

Kitnkaboodle Productions ‘take the show on the road’ and have shared their interactive musical ventures with “The Rainbow Roots Road-show” for three successive years to far north Queensland, which involved a troupe of musicians touring and performing in many regional areas.
Jake & Sue plan to continue the journey, ever expanding the connections with the intention of
composing, performing, recording, filming and documenting their travels, inspiring and supporting sustainable arts and community producing original music.
