I am an electronics engineer and have been involved in Victorian school, tafe and University teaching since 2010. I teach Diploma of electronics at Technical Education Development Institute. I did my teaching degree from Monash University Melbourne and also taught as a sessional teacher in Monash University. I am a VIT registered Victorian teacher/trainer. I have been an outstanding student and won a lot of proficiency awards in Maths and Science during my school days.
I strongly believes that good education and academics never go wasted and pay in the long run. Academics is important because of the impact it will have on your future. You need to consider the role your grades will play in determining the colleges you may or may not be able to attend. In the short term good academics will help to build your confidence and provide a sound foundation of work ethic that will carry over into your life. In the long term, it will help to determine your college opportunities as well as your potential financial earnings and even your career.
I also firmly believe that every child has a right to an education and can reach their full potential provided that they are supported in their learning and teachers and parents play a big role in this.
