Kinma School

For 40 years Kinma has been leading the way in innovative holistic child-centred teaching and learning, centred around the key areas of relationships, respect, reflection, creativity and intellectual critical thinking.

Central to our approach are small multi-age class groups where children participate in self-directed and collaborative learning, while our teachers actively encourage and nurture the individuality of each child.

At Kinma, we believe in encouraging healthy learning environments. Kinma is non-competitive and our community chooses not to participate in the NAPLAN tests or provide graded reports. Instead, all children are individually assessed on their progress and abilities.

Non-denominational, co-educational and non-profit, Kinma is set on 5 acres of beautiful bushland in Terrey Hills. Kinma caters for children from preschool to year 6.
