Kinglake Ranges Childrens Centre

The Kinglake Ranges Childrens Centre, established in 2011, is a community-run service providing care for children from 6 weeks of age to 6 years old. The Centre is committed to achieving best practice and offers government subsidies for eligible parents and guardians.

We provide quality care in our service, supporting each individual child, their families and the wider community. We recognise differences and uniqueness, valuing that diversity enriches the social tapestry of our centre.

Building strong, trusting relationships is paramount to the provision of a quality program. We work in partnership with parents/guardians, supporting each family’s values, respecting cultural diversity and encouraging parents to share new ideas in the Centre’s philosophy, policies and practices, so we can continue to strive for improvement in service quality.

Children, families and the wider community are of critical importance as partners in a holistic learning community that promotes the well-being, education and development of all children.

Additional services operating within the centre are the Murrindindi Shire Maternal Child Health Services, Speech therapy, and various other child health and family welfare services.

We are certified under the National Quality Standards Framework, consisting of Seven quality areas, we operate under the Education and Care Services National Law Act 2010 and Education and Care Services National Regulations.

KRCC is a not-for-profit organisation governed by an elected Board of Management, drawn from the local community and any relevant experts.
