kil.n.it is a creative space providing studios, classes, workshop and glaze kitchen, to those with an experimental approach to clay. We aim to bring together artists and practitioners to investigate what is possible beyond the usual expected vessel form.

kil.n.it has emerged as a response to the increasing popularity of ceramics as an artistic medium and the limited access to affordable studios with an experimental and teaching approach within the city of Sydney.

The first of its kind in Sydney, kil.n.it is here to support emerging, mid career and established artists who wish to explore the media of ceramic material in their practice. kil.n.it is ready for makers who think big or small.

Kilns available to the artists and public for booking. Drop-in makers can use workshop space and glaze kitchen, communal tools available as well as purchase of ceramic supplies.

With an on site manager available for mentoring and technical advice, combined with an atmosphere of discovery and exploration, artists are able to have the freedom of private research or assistance whenever they please.
