Gerard Clancy is a registered domestic builder, DB-U18426 and a HIA member, 846926. He and his team with their prime movers, hydraulic house-float trailers, hydraulic jacks (for lifting house sections evenly) and various forms of cutting/separating tools will prepare a weatherboard or brick veneer house for transport (dismantle the roof-frame and cut the house into 2 or 3 sections), relocate the house-sections under Vic Roads Permits, restump the house sections with concrete hangers set into concrete (stump-hole depth depends on Client's Soil Classification), rejoin and reroof the house usually with new Colorbond materials - iron, fascia and gutters (as an optional extra).
To comply with the Energy Ratings for relocated houses our roofing plumbers install foil sisilation under the new roofing iron (but Client has to install both ceiling batts and underfloor insulation once all tradesmen have completed their works) and for the new Bushfire Attack Level (BAL) Assessments our roofing plumbers install insulation blanket above all eaves to prevent ember attack).
