The first 3 questions you should ask ANY dog trainer:
1. What exactly happens when my dog gets "it" right?
2. What exactly happens if my dog gets "it" wrong?
3. Is there any less invasive/aversive options to what you're suggesting?
If you like the answers, hire the person. If you do not, keep shopping.
Kembrey K9 Services is dedicated to helping you understand your dog. Many problem behaviours are symptoms of some other underlying issue(s). When we find and treat/manage the cause, the symptom is likely to subside.
Kembrey K9 Services only use positive reinforcement, force-free training methods. This promotes a solid foundation for building a relationship with your dog based on trust.
All classes are instructed by Melissa, who is a certified veterinary nurse and currently studying for a degree, through the Delta Society, in behavioural dog training using only scientifically based positive reinforcement, force-free methods.
