Katie Visser Music

Katie Visser is a performer, singer-songwriter based in Melbourne. Since releasing her first single ‘Dangerous’ in 2013, she has performed at Chapel off Chapel’s Cabaret Showcases, founded the rock trio "The Peripheral Figures", and was the Bronze Finalist in the Global Music Awards in June 2017 for her song ‘Radio Radio’ (available on iTunes).

Katie has just performed her first full length cabaret show "Katie's 80s", a celebration of 80s music while tackling the battlefield of love that was well received as part of the 2017 Melbourne Fringe Festival and will be performing her next cabaret show about Veganism and food politics in March next year. She will also be releasing her first EP in 2018.

Her influences include Evanescence, Heart and Alanis Morissette and she has a raw and robust style that calls to mind powerhouse vocalists Pat Benatar and Hayley Williams.
