More about Kangatraining Gawler & Barossa Valley

WHAT IS KANGATRAINING?
Kangatraining a danced based choreographed workout that is perfect for mums to socialise with other mums in the gawler & barossa valley, exercise without the need to find a babysitter and enjoy all of the health benefits without going to the gym.

KANGATRAINING means a total body workout while your baby can relax and enjoy being close to you. We now have locations all over Australia!

KANGATRAINING is a complete workout during which both cardiovascular endurance/flexibility and muscular capacity/strength are enhanced.
Naturally, the pelvic floor and abdominal muscles as well as correct posture are given special attention.

Our program is specifically designed to focus on re-strengthening your pelvic floor and abdominal muscles, and focuses on correct carrying of your baby during the workout.

WHEN CAN I START CLASSES?
You can begin Kangatraining once you have been given the all clear from your health professional to start exercising. This is anywhere from 6 -10 weeks or slightly longer for caesarean sections.
Your trainer will ask you to complete a health questionnaire to highlight any concerns so that they may modify the exercises in the workout for you.

HOW LONG IS EACH KANGATRAINING SESSION?
Each Kangatraining session is one hour.
Mums are encouraged to arrive at the class about 15 minutes prior to the class starting, to allow ample time for babies to be fed and changed to ensure their comfort for the rest of the session.
This also allows the Kangatrainer time to discuss any health or physical concerns mums may have prior to the class, so that modifications can be made to exercises for them.

IS MY BABY CARRIER SUITABLE, WHAT IF I DON'T HAVE ONE?
