Just Buttercream Cakes

My name is Jes and i'm a self taught caker from the illawarra. Caking is a hobby of mine, a way of venting all my creative frustrations i suppose. I'm a perfectionist at heart in everything i do which shows in my cakes. Naturally i'm not much of a baker but i enjoy the presentation side of things which is where i shine. All my products are of best quality and i won't settle for anything less. I buy my products from Cakers Warehouse which provide me with quality and tasty baking products and then source many of the elements elsewhere depending on the clients preferences.

Because i'm only an independent caker with a small turnover, i can't buy my products at wholesale prices. Which in turn unfortunately means my cakes can get expensive quick. But in saying that, i put all my heart and soul into my cakes, which is also the case for anything i put my mind to. I like to get every detail perfect and will never settle for anything less then my standard. With every cent i make from this hobby, it goes straight back into bettering my caking and to the range i have available. Basically the amounts i charge covers the cost to make the cake and anything extra supports my hobby so i can keep on making cakes. It's been expensive to set up a decent inventory of caking materials and i'm only looking to expand as well as to learn and broaden my education in caking.

I hope people can see my creations as the art i create them to be, and that they give the same amount of happiness to my clients as i get out of creating them. And as long as that keeps happening, i will keep putting everything i can into this hobby of mine.
